My 2nd experience with Kambo…
Not just a physical purge…
STORYTIME w Kambo & Cambo
Yaknow when you’re blowing it out both ends, your apetite is gone, your recounting every time you burnt the candle at both ends and promising yourself to be better to yourself in every way? That was me a week ago. The general consensus is ‘parasite,’ orrrr ‘bacteria in the water,’ ‘take anti-biotics’ all that.
..
I did Kambo instead (radical I know, ignoring the pharmaceutical approach, how silly)
Kambo is a secretion from the giant monkey frog, traditionally used to treat illness within jungle villages, discovered by a village healer through a vision from Ayahuasca some thousand years ago.. or so the legend goes.
8 glasses of water pre-ceremony, biggest struggle of my life right there, was exhausting enough just walking down the hill.
What research has caught up to so far, is that the frogs secretion is full of peptides, with anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, anti-parasitic properties. It works its way through the lymphatic system (the bodies natural detoxification system responsible for pumping cellular waste away from the cells and vital organs) and stimulates an all-mighty clean out.
What isn’t accounted for, is the ancestral wisdom of this medicine.. something tells me it’ll take a while for the western world to catch up to that one..
A superficial burn in the skin is created, deep enough for the secretion to be absorbed into the lymphatic system but NOT deep enough to go into the bloodstream — very important. A professionally trained practitioner is required for application. You wouldn’t go to a barber for heart surgery, just like you wouldn’t take any medication that hasn’t been thoroughly tested… oh wait..
A good practitioner will also ensure you have no contra-indications or health issues that would suggest Kambo would be a BAD idea — also very important, as some underlying health issues mixing with Kambo can result in a very bad time — not that I’m an expert, but if you have hypertension or chronic heart conditions, you’d be well off addressing those first… probably better you address those issues even if you didn’t want to play with the frog, but I digress.

Within minutes of application my breathing becomes haggard, my heart is pumping, I can feel the lymph nodes around the back of my jaw, in front of my ears and around my temples swelling and pumping. An all-mighty chunder into a beautifully stable and supportive bucket sees a lot of water and a shitload of foamy bile exit my immensely thankful and exhausted body. Mental clarity ensues. Rage follows.
Stored anger, suppressed and repressed because I didn’t wanna feel it, I didn’t wanna deal with it. It’s too hard, it burns, it hurts, it’s destructive. Spurred by thoughts uncontrollable and painful. It took me two days to ride this wave, and I had never felt better about being extremely angry. Stored emotions were coming to the surface, begging to be released.
Imagine being taken by a fury of rage, along with immensely satisfying liberation.
While I was tired, my appetite was back. I was hungryyyyy and I was focussed. My shit was solid. No more nausea. Physical fitness restored.
I’ve become aware and even preached in the recent year four pillars of health. Physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. But this really hammered it home. Your thoughts & emotions are just as important in your overall health as hittin up your favorite Zumba class. Stress and repressed emotions also repress your immune system.
Really makes me feel for the fam back home. Forced to inhale waste products, removed from human connection, trapped in a box. All of these sabotaging their health, all working against the natural function of human design. Some adamant this is necessary, others disagree.
Anyways, if I keep writing I’m gonna project my own opinions all over the shop, and then I may as well go spew back in the loo.

I want to keep this based on anecdote and truth, so I’ll leave with this:
IF you accept what I’ve offered, that thoughts and emotions can play a role in the natural regulation of the immune system, what do you think the media, national and state public ‘health’ acts, police and army enforcement, how is that affecting your health?
How about refusing your basic human needs like connection, as well as seriously limiting other basic needs like fresh air, oxygen and sunlight.. what is that all doing to you the longer this plays out?
Given what’s happening in Israel, the failing efficiency of the proposed treatment strategy, when is it time to start addressing the underlying chronic health issues that are making us so vulnerable in the first place? Yeah it’s tough, all the biggest risk factors for death are majorly lifestyle based, but we have to start somewhere.
Or are you happy to live booster to booster, eventually succumbing to some form of avoidable, painful, lifestyle-based chronic health disease? Your friends and family the same way.
BUT what do I know, I just wanna go work on a permaculture farm for the next 50 years anyways — btw HAVE you seen my cactus? Holy shit mate makes me wriggggleeeeee with joy
